Parastatals Department

Generally, the department is responsible for the following:

1. The Parastatal Department is responsible for the three (3) Parastatals under the Ministry which are: Nigerian National Merit Awards (NNMA), National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF);
2. Keeping and maintenance of records of Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs (FMSDIGA);
3. Processing of request from Parastatals under the Ministry;
4. Processing of memoranda for contract award outside the limit of the Board of Trustees of Parastatals;
5. Representing the Ministry on the Governing Boards of the Agencies;
6. Serves as Secretariat to the Presidential Standing Committee on Private Jetties
