Human Resources Management
Generally, the Department is responsible for the following:
- Co-ordination of the activities of all the Departments in the Ministry in terms of Personnel matters such as Appointment Promotion and Discipline, Staff changes, Pension matters, Posting and Redeployment;
- Responsible for training programs and Staff Welfare matters; e.g. Rewards and Recognition;
- Handling of all Security matters of the Ministry;
- Responsible for designing and implementation of Personnel matters;
- Provision of Secretariat service for Senior and Junior Staff Committee;
- Handling of transportation matters;
- Ensuring effective implementation of IPPIS Service-Wide for all new entrants into the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter- Governmental Affairs;
- Industrial relations and Union matters;
- NYSC/IT matters;
- Office maintenance, Plants and Equipment’s;
- Protocol.;
- Manpower Budget;
- Registry – Open & Secretary Registry;
- Nominal Roll;
- ID Card;
- Sports Matters;
- Store;
- Liaison with OHCSF, FCSC on Appointment, Promotion and Discipline (APD) matters as well as Staff Welfare and Training (SWT) matters
- Coordination of Performance Management System (PMS);
- Coordination of Service – Wide-road map e.g. FCSSIP – Federal Civil Service Strategic Implementation Plan (Smart –P, Lead – P, etc.).
