VISION
To serve as a platform for championing Nation Building through enthronement of social harmony and sustainable development.
MISSION
To serve as a strategic tool for grassroots development and effective implementation and Monitoring of Government Policies and Programmes for National Development.
MANDATES
The Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs owing to its indispensable and strategic roles in implementation of Federal Government policies and programmes had undergone a number of structural changes between 2019, when it was re-established, and 2023 to accomplish its prescribed mandates. Such reviewed mandates, mission and vision of the Ministry are hereunder outlined:
- Manage key projects and initiatives of the Presidency;
- Coordinate Multi- Agency and Inter- Ministry functions;
- Develop and Implement Policies, Programmes and Projects towards improvement of Inter- Governmental relations at the state and Local Government Levels;
- Monitoring and Certification of implementation of Zonal Intervention Projects/Constituency Projects (ZIP/CP) and all key projects and initiatives;
- Actively collaborate with the private sector to create employment for Nigerian youths; and
- Develop, implement and coordinate Poverty eradication programmes for Sustainable National Development.
